NUMBER NINE, NUMBER NINE, NUMBER NINE, NUMBER NINE…

8:01 pm

4 / 25 - Wow. Seems that simple palindromes are ness after two insta-classics courtesy Tito’s Titans vs. the simply sad Stankees. No lead is safe when you have the Pinheaded bullpen involved. Even Mighty Mo joined the fun during Friday night’s game. How long will ESPN and NESN go to Rivera’s body language reaction to Jay-Bee’s rock-em shock-em game-tying ninth inning, two-out blast? A long long long (long) time. It will take up space next to his reaction to Abreu giving up on the looper to right when he yelled “Catch the Ball!”

And today? Well, neither staff was sharp, but when it became apparent this would be a second day of bull v bull, we had a very good feeling that the Fenway bashers would get the job done.

Tomorrow seems likely to be a bit flat after two drama-packed duels. Each team needs seven strong from their starter and Pettite has always thrived on being the Bronx stopper. Which takes nothing away from Justin “Masterblaster” Masterson who has been cold hard cash money so far this season.

The better start wins it. Your read it here first!

Next ‘cast on Monday!
